All classes are taking a summer break and will start again in September 2023. Teacher (Nancy Redig) needs some time to prepare for next year classes and shows. I will post the start date as soon as I have everything set up. I hope everyone has a great summer!!

Fees paid through PayPal (halimeda@Instepstudio.com). In person class fees are paid either as walk in $10 per class or $90 gets a dance card for 10 regularly scheduled classes. Dance cards can be used when you want. We accept cash, MasterCard,VISA, Discover, American Express, PayPal (halimeda@instepstudio.com) and checks if the check has your address printed on it.



Halimeda / 'Aukai and her instructors have the longest established Middle Eastern Raqs Sharqi and Polynesian dance classes in Tallahassee, Florida. Classes started in 1993 and continue today.  They are currently taught at two places:  
  • ARTS after School is at 3510 Weems Road, Tallahassee, Florida.  Use the entrance door with the ramp by the office, go through the lobby area and turn left. There are great mirrors and sound system as well as a wonderful, suspended dance floor. Please call (850) 509-4572 for additional information.
  • Replay Fitness - Feel Good Again is at 2328 Apalachee Parkway, Suite #6. The studio is in a series of small shop areas attached to the back of Papa John's Pizza and faces the side street: Victory Garden Dr. It's easier to access from the side street.


Halimeda's Oasis costuming shop was added in 2001. The shop carries a variety of quality, unique hand made and imported items. There are several wonderful seamstresses providing hand made and unique items for MENAT dance, Hawaiian dance, Renn Faire events and Pirate Festivals. We love making affordable custom costuming for troupes; let us know what you need.

Your privacy is important. In Step Studio and Halimeda's Oasis do not collect any financial information. Our credit card providers are etsy, Square and PayPal. Each has its own policy and we do not retain card information. We do retain addresses for shipping information; we rarely send snail mail general information. Halimeda's Oasis does retain email addresses from customers that chose to share theirs with us. We provide a news letter only to those that have asked and anyone can opt out at any time. Halimeda's Oasis/In Step Studio retain phone numbers for those customers that call for information; we only return calls when requested and do not do "cold" calls. Halimeda's Oasis/In Step Studio do not send text messages unless a question is asked and we only answer that question.
